While Florence has been downgraded to a tropical depression, it is still causing a lot of issues due to heavy rain.
According to WSOC-TV, due to lingering rain and heavy downpours, a flash flood emergency has been issued for parts of our area, including Mathews, Union County, southeast Charlotte, and Mint Hill.
