Over the weekend, Boone took to Instagram to share a hand-written note expressing that she “felt” those who supported her and sent her positivity amid the alleged sexual harassment allegations.
“I’ve never spent a lot of time on social media but I wanted everyone who has sent me positivity over the last few weeks to know I FELT IT,” Boone wrote. “I am so appreciative of all the love, prayers, and support. I love you! I thank you!”
Boone apparently, wasn’t the only person working on The Chi who endured Mitchell’s alleged harassment and inappropriate behavior. The series’ current showrunner, Ayanna Floyd also claimed that she “became a target of his rage and inappropriateness, and had to report him to HR.”
Mitchell has now been axed from The Chi and by his agents and management team.
