Do you guys remember The Penguin restaurant which was located in Plaza Midwood? It operated from 2000-2010 and served classic diner eats.
Brian Rowe was the owner and he wants to give it another shot in a vintage space. Rowe's new restaurant will be named Bird Bones Cafe. This restaurant will replicate his iconic Penguin Drive-In inside a century-old home in Optimist Park.
But he needs some help. Rowe has launched a $150,000 “Bring Back the Bird” campaign on GoFundMe which you can find here.
