Charlotte and Power 98’s very own Burpie has been selected as the only applicant who on his first time applying to showcase for NACA (National Associaton for Campus Activities) was selected to be an alternate MC. Hundreds of thousands of people apply to showcase nationally and they select maybe 20 people total, this is a huge deal in the entertainment industry. Absolute no one gets looked at for the showcase especially when its their first time applying. For those who don’t know what NACA is, this is the group that books all of the entertainment that comes to your college campus. This Showcase is going down in February 2020 in Denver Colorado.
Burpie is a stand-up comedian seen on MTV’s Wild n Out, Joking Off, Worldstar tv, Real Housewives of Atlanta, etc. He is also a radio personality on No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse. He enjoys writing random Charlotte stories that he finds interesting or even bringing his comedy to the internet. He also writes about Charlotte sports. His life on a day to day is sometimes where he finds a lot of inspiration for his online content and on-air bits.
