Technology Distribution at Some CMS Schools
Shout out to all of our educators that are working hard to make sure that our children continue to learn during this tough time. We are moving to virtual learning across the Carolinas and many of our schools are providing students with technology.
Below are some school updates and technology distribution details. If your school isn’t listed that doesn’t mean they are doing anything. Just give them a call to find out what resources they are offering.

This is Assistant Principal Paula Cook with some important updates around the COVID-19 virus and its impact on teaching and learning at West Charlotte High School. Our School Community’s health and safety is of greatest concern so we would like to encourage you to take the necessary precautions to stay safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
As you may know, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is working to develop a plan to continue to offer online instructional learning opportunities for your students while we are not in school. At West Charlotte High School, we are committed to following this guidance as well.
We have set up a central website called the E-Learning Lion Portal for continuously updated information as well as links to help you stay in contact and request technology assistance for your child. Please visit www.tinyurl.com/WCELearningLionPortal to visit the website. A link to the portal is also listed at the top of the navigation bar on the Main West Charlotte Web Page.If your child requires technology support such as a device or a charger, please visit the E-Learning Portal and fill out the corresponding form. There will be a staggered technology device pickup tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th and a member of our team will contact you with more details after you fill out the form.
As we receive more information, we will keep our Lion Family updated. We thank you for your work, support, collaboration, and encouragement during these difficult times.
Thank you!
