Pete Davidson apparently can’t handle his weed in the presence of Snoop Dogg, who revealed in an interview his smoking shortcomings.
On Tuesday’s (June 22) episode of Nightly Pop, hosts Morgan Stewart and Hunter March welcomed the rapper to the show and asked how he was, Snoop replied with a rolled blunt in hand, “Well, I’m waking and baking, shaking, but I ain’t aching.”
Stewart then asked the 49-year-old out of all the celebrities he’s smoked with over the years, who couldn’t handle it.
“Hmm, I can’t even front. The last person I just blew with, I knocked his wig off,” Snoop said. “I’m supposed to see him again this week, my good friend Pete Davidson.”
When Stewart gasped at Snoop’s answer about the SNL star, she said, “Pete Davidson can’t hang?! I thought I would not expect that answer.” Snoop elaborated, “I mean, he fights, he fights and he fights, then he says, ‘Hey, man, I’m cool though.'”
Speaking of another time when the shoe was on the other foot and Snoop was “too high” he recalled being in on “an expedition with Willie Nelson” in Amsterdam on April 20, 2007. The two were performing concerts in the city a day apart, each going to watch their performances. At Snoop’s concert on 4/20, he said, “I had to stop because he was blowing me out the water as far as performance-wise and performance-wise,” he said while using his blunt as a suggestion.
Snoop celebrated his 24th wedding anniversary with his wife, Shante Broadus, sharing three children together: sons Corde, 26, Cordell, 24 and daughter Cori, 22. The secret to “keeping it spicy” after all those years together is “to establish a friendship and to establish communication and understanding,” Snoop said. “Once you establish that, time will just kick in and things just keep happening over and over again.” He had son Julian Corrie, 23, with his high school sweetheart while married. Snoop Dogg’s real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., and his family adopted his last name.
