NC HBCU athletes win medals in Olympics
2 students from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University Trevor Stewart and Randall Ross Jr, who were already national champions in the NCAA championships, help their US olympic teammates win a gold medal in the 4×400 meter relay.
With their gold medal victory that makes them the first ever athletes from NCA&T to win a medal in any Olympic Games. Trevor Stewart also won a bronze medal in the 4 x 4oom mixed relay. It was the first time they had ever done this event in the olympics.
