Porsha Williams’ Family Question Engagement in Trailer to Her New Show
Porsha Williams’ family is feeling a little indifferent about the reality star’s engagement to Simon Guobadia and they seem to have no problem sharing their opinions on their new Bravo show.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters premieres Nov. 28 and as the limited series unfolds, viewers will see how the opinionated pack feels about Williams’ engagement to Guobadia.
Over a meal, Williams’ family starts questioning the fast engagement to Guobadia as they were only dating one month prior to him getting down on one knee. A red flag is raised at the table as Williams informs the group that she will be Guobadia’s fourth wife.
A family member replies in dismay, “Oh, my Lord.”
“I want to know why Simon’s three previous marriages did not work,” another family member states. A third relative chimes in about how they found out about Guobadia,”I had to find out about Simon on TV.”
Another relative gets shady and asks, “How are you engaged to a married man?”
Williams admits, “The optics don’t look great,” adding, “People don’t have all the facts.”
If you remember, Guobadia was married to Williams’ The Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Faylnn Guobadia for two years.
Williams announced her relationship with Simon on Instagram back in May captioning the selfie of the two, “Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love,” she wrote in the post. “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
Simon also shared their reacquainted love in a post, “I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters premieres Nov. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
