Kanye Wears ‘White Lives Matter’ Shirt at Yeezy Fashion Show
Kanye West made a statement at his YZY SZN 9 fashion show in Paris as the rapper was seen wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt.
On Monday (Oct. 3), Ye was spotted rocking a black t-shirt with a very clear “White Lives Matter” message on the back. The lettering was in bold white text without any other context on the shirt. A few models also were seen wearing the item as well but in grey and black long-sleeve versions. However, it is currently unclear if it is actually part of the new YZY line.

The show featured a kids chorus, including his daughter North, that sang while the models walked, TMZ reports. The YZY designer described the new collection as something you can “pull on and pull over” which he dubbed “the future of clothing.”
During the show, a new song rumored to be called “Always” which featured James Blake played in the background as well.

The streaming of the event was on Kanye’s YouTube channel but has since been removed.
Kanye previously mentioned that he wanted to do a show in Paris for his upcoming YZY collection however it was in the midst of his rant between Adidas and Gap where fans might have missed it. The post was deleted and never brought up again by the rapper until his recent sightings over the weekend.
HighNSobriety reports that Ye’s show was so last-minute that YEEZY clothes only arrived in Paris barely a day before the show and the YZY SZN PR firm had to be swapped during the planning phases.
Prior to the YZY SZN 9 show, Ye teased that A-list celebs and models would have some involvement in the show. The post included Rihanna, Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Irina Shayk, Candice Swanepoel — and a photo of some hooded character from the collection. However, none of the stars showed up for the performance the outlet reports.
