Steve Wilks Should Be The Panthers Head Coach No Question
Steve Wilks is the current interim coach of the Carolina Panthers. He took over when former coach Matt Rhule was fired after a dismal start to the season. The Panthers also traded away their best player Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers. The Panthers were a mere 1-4 when Wilks took over the team. They did not look competitive at all. They looked like a lost puppy out in an unknown world. The Panthers begin to look very different when Wilks took over the team. They all of a sudden could run the ball. The defense played better. Sam Darnold is also looking like an NFL quarterback. The Panthers look very competitive and was even one game from the winning the NFC south and making the playoffs. Tom Brady ended those hopes as he has done for a lot of teams but still the Panthers are competing. Steve Wilks has been a head coach before. This is his second chance and this is his team. The players are playing for him. The players speak highly of him. He is the one. The Panthers can run the south by making this first move for the future. Make Steve the head coach period. David Tepper do not blow this. Do not wait another day make this move right now and I mean right now!! Look forward to seeing Steve roam the sidelines as head coach for years to come.
