Books are meant to teach lessons. Sometimes the lessons that the books teach are way beyond the reader’s years. A middle school dad has just said this was the case with the book that his son checked out of the school library. The book had a very detailed sex scene in it. The dad says that is 6th grader did not to be reading this book in school and was very upset. The 6th grader even came to the school board meeting and read an excerpt from the book. Some people are pushing for books like this to be in the schools.
