R. Kelly Transferred to a North Carolina Prison

After being sentenced to 20 years in prison for child pornography and enticement of minors for sex back in February, R. Kelly has been moved from a Chicago correctional center to a medium-security prison in North Carolina.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson, R. Kelly been transferred from the Metropolitan Correctional Center Chicago to the Federal Correctional Institution Butner Medium I in Butner, North Carolina. The reason for the transfer isn’t disclosed due to privacy, safety, and security reasons. The prison houses 771 inmates including Joe Exotic and Theodore John Kaczynski a.k.a The Unabomber.
