Lil Wayne’s Daughter Reginae Carter Targeted In Home Invasion
Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter was the target of a home invasion and now has reflected on what she will be doing differently so that it will not happen again.
“Two guys tried to break in my home last night,” she wrote on Twitter Monday (May 8). “So Glad I wasn’t there [prayer hands emoji] people are sick!”
She then added: “This is my sign to get Tf out of here, and to be more private and more to myself about everything.”
While Carter wants to be more private moving forward, her new reality series with her mother, Wayne’s ex-wife Toya Johnson-Rushing, will look into the rising star’s life per Variety.

AMC’s WE TV Toya & Reginae has officially been greenlit and the unscripted reality TV show will follow the mother-daughter duo. The two previously appeared on the network’s successful reality show Growing Up Hip-Hop. The show also starred Romeo Miller, Angela Simmons, Egypt Criss, Boogie Dash, and Sandra Denton (Pepa from Grammy-winning hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa).
“I’m so excited to let viewers back into our lives to see what my family has been up to since you’ve seen us last,” said Johnson-Rushing.
Toya & Reginae will air this fall exclusively on WE tv and sister steamer ALLBLK.
The network also ordered a new scripted drama based on the life of Deb Antney, entitled Bev is Boss. Antey is a music mogul. She helped launch the career of hip-hop stars Nicki Minaj, French Montana, and Gucci Mane as the founder and CEO of Mizay Entertainment.
“Being vulnerable and letting others in isn’t exactly a comfortable place for me,” said Antney. “However, it’s where I needed to go creatively to tell this uniquely personal story. Working with Jamie and his team to bring my story to life has been deeply rewarding on a professional level. Bev is Boss pulls back the curtain on my personal journey and invites the world to experience each step along the way.”
“Bev is Boss” will air exclusively on WE TV later this year.
