JT Throws Phone At ‘B—- A–‘ Lil Uzi Vert At 2023 BET Awards
JT and Lil Uzi Vert got into an argument at the 2023 BET Awards resulting in the City Girls rapper throwing her phone at them.
The rappers were seated next to one another at the Sunday awards show, where footage circulating social media sees JT call Uzi a “bitch a– n—-” and a “groupie” before she storms off. Uzi follows right behind her as they leave the venue.
A video from BET’s official TikTok that has since been deleted showed that JT visibly looked upset while Uzi was talking to her. “What do you think Uzi told JT?” the caption read. Some fans speculate that the heated argument was a result of a photo that Ice Spice snapped of her and Uzi. Spice was sitting on the other side of Uzi during the award show. The “Princess Diana” hitmaker uploaded the photo to Instagram during the ceremony. Fans noted that JT “liked” the image, which some interpreted as shady.

“Baby Jt is a Sagittarius,” one fan wrote in the comment section about the City Girls’ sun sign. “She liked that pic being petty and letting Uzi know it’s on my boy. U played with the right girl. That’s how we do she not even mad at ice spice frfr. She mad [at] him for playing with her.”
To add fuel to the rumors of how this argument could have started was that Uzi previewed a new song. Uzi opened the award show with the new song along with their No. 1 hit “Just Wanna Rock.”
“I’m f—— the dog—- out of this bitch, her wig came off twice/ She had a lil’ fro, she look like Ice Spice,” Uzi raps in the unreleased song.
However, despite their mishap the two rappers were seen leaving together at the show’s end. No word on if they returned to their seats, but a backstage video shows that they left together.
