Jamie Foxx Spotted Waving To Fans In First Public Appearance Since Hospitalization
Jamie Foxx was spotted waving to fans over the weekend. It was the actor’s first public appearance since his hospitalization. In footage and photos captured by TMZ, Foxx was seen on a yacht; in the footage, fans noticed him and Foxx smiled and waved back. The event took place in the Chicago River on Sunday (July 9,) according to Revolt.
This was the first time Foxx was seen out since his April “medical complication” where he stayed in the hospital for several weeks. He was later transported to a rehabilitation facility in Chicago in May.
He followed up his boat endeavors with a tweet on Monday (July 10). “Boat life [fox emoji] Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn Stay blessed!”

This is not the first time Foxx has taken to social media amid his hospitalization. On May 3, the actor posted a short and simple message to Instagram, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.” He also included hands pressed together, fox and heart emoji.
Foxx also took to his Instagram Story to thank Nick Cannon, who will be filling in for him as the guest host of Beat Shazam during its sixth season.
“Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon,” Foxx wrote on his Instagram Story. “See u all soon.”
On April 12, Corrine Foxx, shared a statement in a since-deleted Instagram post on behalf of the Foxx family. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne shared.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read. “The family asks for privacy during this time.” Several stars publicly gave their well wishes to Foxx and his family during this time.
Foxx’s specific medical condition has not been disclosed publicly at this time.

The track appeared on Brown’s 1996 debut album Ill Na Na. This also marks the first time Lola has worked with Bryson.
