Hey y'all!  We're back again with another edition of Dishin' With Debbie for Mrs. T's Pierogies.  And, this time the recipe takes me on a nostalgic journey back to childhood school days.  Who remembers "Hamburger Helper?"  It was one of my all time favorite meals my mom made.  I didn't realize at the time she probably made it because it was extremely economical.  I just knew I liked it.  Well, this Hamburger Pierogy Casserole from Mrs. T's Pierogies gives a nod to that throwback recipe of my childhood.

And, it's no secret how versatile Mrs. T's Peirogies are.  Those soft, pillowy pasta pockets filled with whipped potatoes, cheese and assorted ingredients transform any recipe to another level.  In this case, I chose Mrs. T's 4-cheese medley mini pierogies to serve as the "pasta" that we remember from the classic dish.  The sauce is super easy to put together and simmer on the stove for that home cooked flavor.  And, again this updated classic is fairly economical, too!  Then, there's the comforting melty cheese that seals the deal for the dish.  This Dishin' with Debbie is definitely a go to for busy weeknights this fall.

So, I hope you enjoy this Dishin' with Debbie Mrs. T's Hamburger Pierogy Casserole as much as we did.  And, make sure to pick up a box of Mrs. T's Pierogies in the freezer section of your favorite grocery store.
