Young Dro Reportedly Arrested For Throwing Banana Pudding At Girlfriend
Young Dro was reportedly arrested for allegedly throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend.
Law enforcement recently told TMZ that Young Dro was arrested on July 5, following an argument that took place at the couple’s Greater Atlanta home.
The pair were supposedly arguing over money, and then things got intense, leading to a food fight.
Police were eventually called to the scene and although Dro’s girlfriend made it clear that she didn’t want to press charges, law enforcement arrested the rapper anyway.
Young Dro is now facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence.
According to law enforcement, Dro is currently still behind bars due to a child support contempt order.
Dro owes almost $41,000 in back child support and needs to pay at least $10,000 in order to be released, according to legal documents.
The child support case involves another mother to one of his children, not his current girlfriend who he had the food fight with.
According to TMZ, the rapper claims that he is all paid up and that the child support contempt order is a clerical error.
The Atlanta rapper is best known for his 2006 single, “Shoulder Lean” featuring T.I. and being featured on rapper Young L.A.’s 2008 single “Ain’t I” that also features T.I.
