Cardi B Thinks Police Brutality Will Continue Until Trump Is Out Of Office
Cardi B has never been shy about offering her opinion.
The Bronx rapper recently had a lot to say about President Donald Trump. Cardi B went on Instagram Live and called out Trump regarding his stance on police brutality, which she feels won’t end until Trump’s out of office.
“Alright so every single time I see a black man get killed on the street by police, I keep saying ‘What the f*ck, does nobody give a f*ck? Nobody cares, nobody cares.’ And it’s just like, I stopped saying that because nobody do care,” Cardi said. “Nobody cares. He don’t care.”
The rapper also stated that she appreciated when former president Barack Obama would make public statements about police brutality when he was in office.
“At least when Obama was president, Obama always used to give a statement that he feels that it’s wrong. He feels it, he sees it. This guy, I know he sees it and he don’t give not one sh*t. So I feel like police brutality is going to keep going [as long as] he’s President,” Cardi said.
“When you keep asking yourself that question, just know that [as long as] he’s president, there’s nothing that’s going to be done for police brutality,” she said. “And it just keeps on going.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper continued explaining how she feels about the social justice issue.
“You know when a kid is bad, right, and they keep getting away with something so they keep on doing it. Cops are going to keep doing it, ‘Oh, I could get away with killing a black man? I could get away with beating the shit out of them? We’re going to keep doing it. The last guy got away with it, so why not me?’” Cardi continued.
The rapper concluded her Instagram Live session by attempting to encourage voters to research candidates for the forthcoming election.
“So, [as long as] this man is the president and he most likely will have a chance in 2020, sh*t like that’s going to keep on happening. So please, get educated about these candidates so we can get this d*ck the f*ck out. Because he don’t give a sh*t and sh*t could get worse,” she said.

In addition to motivating her fans and supporters to research issues and candidates, the rapper has also shared her support for Bernie Sanders. She’s also even chatted with Sanders directly regarding his policies.
Sanders stated that the rapper is “deeply concerned” about the nation’s current state and is passionate about improving the lives of those in her community.
