Wow: Coronavirus Exposure Tracked Back To A Keyboard
I’m going to be honest with you. This story scares the hell out of me! When I come to work, I spray that keyboard down down when I come to work just in case! You should too! Its been an ongoing mystery as to how a Charlotte woman tested positive for COVID-19 but hadn’t left the house in 3 weeks. While following the Stay-at-Home orders and practicing social distancing, Rachel Brummer only stepped beyond her front door to collect mail and groceries. Besides the woman that voluntarily delivers her groceries and her husband with whom temporarily sleeps in a separate room she recently had not been in contact with anyone.
So how does a woman who appears to be careful especially while indoors contract the coronavirus? Well, Prior to quarantine, Brummer visited the local pharmacy that she claims to have barely touched. After further studying the trace of exposure, it was then the epidemiologist discovered the transmission was from the Keyboard at the pharmacy. She also suffers from an autoimmune disorder which made her more vulnerable to the illness. She claims this is the worst she has ever felt.
If you weren’t following the necessary safety precautions before, please begin immediately. COVDID-19 is very much serious and present almost everywhere. Continue to practice social distancing and most importantly STAY HOME. Non-essential interactions are not worth your life.
