Popular Cheerwine Festival Announces Return To North Carolina Town This May
One of the most beloved festivals in the state is returning for 2024. That’s right the Cheerwine Festival announced that it will take place in Salisbury on Saturday, May 18th. This festival celebrates Cheerwine-the South’s favorite cherry soda in its hometown of Salisbury, NC. This year’s festival will run from noon to 10 p.m. and will feature live musical entertainment from local and national acts, Cheerwine-inspired food and drinks, family-friendly activities, arts and crafts, and more!
“We’re thrilled to bring back the Cheerwine Festival to Salisbury, a day filled with great music, unique food, and fun for the whole family,” says Joy Ritchie Harper, vice president of marketing for Cheerwine. “This event brings the community together in a meaningful way, and we’re excited to see both new and familiar faces as we mark another year of the Festival.”
Due to rising attendance at the yearly event, Cheerwine and the City of Salisbury are expanding the festival area to accommodate the increasing number of attendees. “We’re enlarging the Festival area, aiming to create an even more spacious and welcoming environment for all our guests and vendors, with the goal of having the most memorable Festival yet,” says Harper.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor for food, beverages, or crafts you can apply now through February 2nd at cheerwinefest.com.
The full musical lineup and additional details will be released in the coming weeks.
