Judge Revises Young Thug Atlanta Travel Ban

Good news for Young Thug! On Halloween, Young Thug pled guilty to charges involving guns, drugs, and gang activity. He received a 40 year sentence, with the first 5 years commuted to time serves, 15 years probation, and the remain 20 years will be commuted if he meets all the conditions of his probation. As part of his 15-year probation, Young Thug was banned from metro Atlanta for the first 10 years, with a few exceptions: weddings, funerals, graduations, or immediate family medical emergencies. His attorneys pushed for holiday visits, but those were denied.  Well in a new ruling Judge Paige Reese Whitaker says if Young Thug stays violation-free for the first three years he will be allowed limited visits back to Atlanta. Specifically, he can return for up to two weeks at a time, up to four times per year, with each visit spaced apart. Probation officers will require five days’ notice and a valid reason for his return, considering his high-profile status. All other conditions of Young Thug's probation will remain the same.
