An “All-American” spinoff and the series “Naomi” is headed to the CW.
“All American: Homecoming” will be set on the campus of an HBCU. While “All-American” focuses on football, “All American: Homecoming” will follow a Beverly Hill Tennis hopeful and Chicago baseball player as they begin their college athletic career. The spin off will stars Geffri Maya Hightower (All-American and Snowfall), Peyton Alex Smith, Kelly Jenrette, Cory Hardrict, Sylvester Powell, Netta Walker, and Camille Hyde. The pilot episode debuts on on The CW on Monday, July 5th.
“Naomi”, which is written and produced by Ava DuVernay, tells the story of a teenage girl in the DC Multiverse who experiences a supernatural event in her hometown.
