The Carolina Tarheels took on Johnson C Smith in a first ever basketball classic. This was the first time that JCSU had played against the Tarheels. The objective of the game is to bring more awareness to HBCU sports.  Coach of The Tarheels Hubert Davis has family that attended JCSU and wanted to do the game to kick of basketball season. He called it a great opportunity for both programs.

I just want to know did they have to beat my school like that. The final was UnC 101 JCSU 40. Whew the basketball god’s was not nice to us.
