Halle Bailey & DDG Share 1st Picture of Baby Boy
After months of speculation, Halle Bailey & DDG are now confirming the birth of their son. The couple posted photos on their Instagram pages Saturday night, showing their hands gently holding baby Halo’s fingers with his name etched in a gold bracelet around his little wrist. “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo the world is desperate to know you,” says Bailey on her Instagram caption.
Many already had an inkling that the two were expecting after many different photos and angles of what appeared to be a “baby bump.” The pair never confirmed or denied anything as it seems they wanted to announce this blessing on their own time. Which can you really blame her? Being in the spotlight isn’t a fun thing, so experiencing her pregnancy in private was probably best for her. Plus, with the success of The Color Purple and the overall attention gained from the movie, once the press tour was over the announcement came at such a perfect time. We hope that they continue to flourish through this new chapter of their lives, parenthood. Can’t wait to see who baby Halo resembles more as he continues to grow older.
