Power 98’s “28 Hour Broadcast” For The Center Of Hope!
No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse broadcasted live for 28 consecutive hours from the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope to raise funds and awareness for homeless women and children in the Charlotte Metropolitan area.
Our goal was to raise $10,000 but with the help and dedication of the Charlotte community, local celebrities, and friends of the station, we were able to raise $15,156.68!
From our first donation to our last, the hours flew by for our team taking your donations left and right to help those in need. With help from local celebrities including Big Ham, Anthony Marrow, Comedian Dominique, Dr. Prince and Dr. Jones from an independently owned pharmacy. To see more interviews, click HERE!
Your donations helped to purchase food, toiletries, provide social services and help facilitate a free on-site medical clinic at the center. Check out some of our social media posts below and photos from our event HERE!
We look forward to doing this again next year and thank you again to everyone who helped make this a huge success.
