Join Ms. Jessica on A Weight Loss Journey
Back in May, I decided “I am putting ME first this summer” and that led to a major lifestyle change. I got a copy of JJ Smith’s book “10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse” and followed it to a T. The cleanse involves you drinking nothing but green smoothies 3 times a day for 10 days. No sweets, no cooked foods. Only smoothies, raw vegetables, and water…..10 DAYS STRAIGHT. Sound difficult? It really wasn’t!
I found support when I joined a support group on Facebook. My clothes started fitting differently, my waist was shrinking and the number on the scale was dropping. I even decided to incorporate some exercise and found that I really enjoy walking. I knew I had to keep with this new lifestyle change. I did the smoothie cleanse throughout the summer and lost over 20 pounds.
But then it happened….I fell off yall! I started drinking sodas again and eating all the C’s….Cookies, Cakes, and Candy! I gained about 6 pounds back. <<Insert Marvin Sapp “We Fall Down”>> But….I’m Back At It!
On Tuesday, September 10th, I will be starting another round of the 10 Day Smoothie Cleanse and I want YOU to do it with me. (I mean you did click on this blog so you must want to lose some weight right). Why Tuesday the 10th? Well my birthday is on the 9th and I plan on eating birthday cake! (Gotta set realistic goals LOL!)

I want you to read it first because I want you to know exactly what you are getting yourself into. Like I said before, it might sound challenging but with the right mindset (we will talk about that tomorrow) and the right support group (ME!) YOU CAN DO THIS!!
