Is football too violent? The question about fooball being violent has been a question long asked by people inside the game and outside the game. The violence of football has again been called into question. Safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after a collision with another player just last week. Hamlin had a cardiac arrest on the field and to be revived before going to the hospital.  Over the weekend another player for the LA Rams experienced a medical emergency.  Critics of football are once again raising the question is football too violent? I applaud the NFL for everything they are doing to make the game safe and all the precautions the league takes to ensure the safety of its players. Is football too violent? My immediate answer would be no however it is a collision sport and in collision accidents happen. The players of the game know the risk of the game and continue to take them. I think the question should be how can we make this game even safer? Prayers to all that play the game.
