PJ Morton
PJ Morton had a concert this past weekend and I was fortunate enough to be able to get the call to open for him. Sometimes when doing shows you know what to expect at times when dealing with the crowd. Some crowds don’t care if a comedian is opening because they came to see who they paid to see. Yet often times you get audiences who are engaged in every move you make. As a comedian your job to grab the people’s attention for whatever amount of time you’re supposed to be on stage and help them forget for a moment that they paid to see someone else, when that happens you can get them to participate in your act and it becomes a special sight to see. I never brag in my profession about being a good comedian but the crowd will let you know when they’re enjoying you. Here’s video of exactly what I mean below.
