President Trump Will Be In Charlotte Today (3/2)
President Trump is expected to arrive in the Queen City sometime this afternoon ahead of Super Tuesday.
He will be holding a rally tonight at Bojangles’ Coliseum starting at 7 pm, doors opening at 3 pm. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say people should expect delays and road closures from 4- 8 pm. Several roads around Bojangles Coliseum will be closed intermittently, including Independence Boulevard from 5:45 pm through 8:45 pm.
Even with the event starting later this evening, people began camping outside of Bojangles Coliseum as early as last Thursday:
