Dawn Staley Shares Championship Net With Fellow Black Coaches

Dawn Staley says she’ll be sharing pieces of the championship net with her fellow Black coaches. The Gamecocks coach did the same thing back in 2017 after winning her first title with the team. After honoring women’s basketball coaches the first time around, Staley says this time she’ll honor coaches on the men’s side who “don’t get opportunities“, and journalists who don’t get recognition.
