Ms. Jessica Talks Mental Health Awareness with Teens
Over the weekend, I had an opportunity to talk mental health awareness with some amazing teens. The Leaders Team at the Stratford Richardson YMCA hosted Brunch and Blossom, a mental health awareness brunch and paint party for teens in our community.
Approximately 80 teens came out to discuss this important topic with the experts including; Adrianne Pinkney, Owner, B. Well: Live Consciously, Latrell Grady, Teen, rising senior, Cato Middle College, Vernisha Crawford, Owner, Bringing You Excellence, LLC, Tiarah Smith, Teen, rising college freshman at NCAT, Myles McGregor, Entrepreneur and Recording Artist, and Maurice Harvey, Owner, Choose Better 4 U, LLC.
A delicious brunch was served, DJ Buttafingaz served as the official DJ, and the event ended with a paint party. Check out pictures from this great event below. Congratulations to the teens that put this together!
