It’s interesting to see the popularity of a show like Friends grow for years after airing the last episode. I remember when it was new and must-see TV back in the 90s. But, new generations continue to stream episodes and find ways to identify with the lovable characters. Our son, who is 21, watched every episode and quotes the famous lines. So, it’s not surprising the popularity led to a new product. Look for Friends themed coffee creamer to make you feel as if you took a seat on the Central Perk couch. International Delight along with Warner Bros. announced a limited edition Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha creamer inspired by the famous Central Perk coffee. For super fans with a knack for keen observation, that’s the drink you see on the chalkboard menu every episode, according to Food & Wine.
The Vice President for marketing at International Delight says the creamer flavor plays into Americans’ desire to make favorite coffee house drinks at home. And, the press release goes on to say it offers regular and zero-sugar versions of the treat. Plus, the packaging features outlines of the show characters and artwork inspired by the iconic show. This includes the famous “Central Perk” sign. The 32 oz. bottles retail for $3.99, available at major retailers across the country. However, this isn’t the first time International Delight produced a themed flavor. They released a Buddy the Elf creamer in 2020 and a Wonka Whipple Scrumptious Fudgy Caramel creamer in 2022. I think I love flavored creamers as much or more than my coffee itself. So, I can’t wait to try this Friends themed coffee creamer and take a seat on my version of the famous couch!
