Ms. Jessica Writes “A Letter To My Younger Self”
“You are constantly questioning yourself as if you aren’t good enough. Remember that you are.”
A couple weeks ago, I was asked to write a letter to my younger self to be featured in QCity Metro. I immediately jumped at the opportunity. Then, I sat down to start writing and it happened… I was stuck. Where do I start? What do I write about? I really wanted my letter to make an impact on the reader. I wanted to get it right. After starting my letter over and over and over again, it finally came to me; write about your start at Johnson C. Smith University. So I started and the words just started flowing.
