Charlotte History In The Making
On Tuesday, I went to Uptown Charlotte to take a couple pictures of the artists at work on the Black Lives Matter mural for our website and IG page. While I was out there I ran into my sis Carrie Cook. She was working hard on the “M” in Matters. Then my brother Wilmo walked up with his son. He asked Carrie if we could paint and she said “Sure”. I said no i was good and told them I only came out to take some pictures of the artists. Wilmo looked at me and said “Jess, this is history and you have a chance to be apart of it.” And that is why I luv me some Wilmo.
He was right! I want to thank Georgie (@gardenofjourney) for allowing me to participate in her BEAUTIFUL vision by painting a small piece of the letter M. I Am A Fan!!! Your work is AMAZING!
History is being made here in Charlotte and WE ALL have an opportunity to be apart of it in multiple ways. Thank you Wilmo for that reminder! Y’all see that black part….Dats All Me! ????????????????
