Ms. Jessica’s Family Fun Day at The Zoo
Y’all know I am not the biggest animal fan. I’m not ashamed to admit it, most (all) of them scare me. But with the nation going through this pandemic, I am trying to think of some fun and different ways to entertain my little ones. So this weekend we packed up in a van and went to Zootastic.
If you are unfamiliar with Zootastic, it is a zoo in Troutman, NC that includes a walk around the area as well as a drive-through area. A Drive Through Zoo?? That was perfect for me. The kids could see the animals and even feed them and I could sit in the comfort of my car with my window safely rolled UP!
I must say, even though a zoo wouldn’t be my 1st pick for a family day out, we had a GREAT time! We saw lamas, deer, buffalo, ostriches, camels, lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). Check out the pictures below.
