Covid Testing Limited In North Carolina As Winter Storm Approaches
One of the major Covid testing providers in the area StarMed Health announced that they will be closing nearly all of the Charlotte area COVID-19 testing locations on Friday. The closing comes as a result of the winter weather that is expected to move through the area later today. There will be one location open which is the Tuckaseegee Road location. The address is 4001 Tuckaseegee Road. It is operating under normal hours (9 am-6 pm) for both Covid-19 testings as well as vaccinations.
If you do go expect long waits due to the limited testing availability. Additionally, the company’s location in Jacksonville (Onslow County) will be open from 10 am- 4 pm).
⭐️ NEWS: Due to todays weather forecast, our Tuckaseegee location will be the only StarMed testing and vaccine location open in Mecklenburg County (9a-6p). Onslow County - Jacksonville will open on a delay (10a-4p).
