Don’t Eat Wish-Bone Salad Dressing Until You Read This
Ideas for leftovers
Put down that salad fork. The dressing you’re about to eat may be contaminated with a potentially unsafe allergen. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall for Wish-Bone Thousand Island and Chunky Blue Cheese salad dressings because they contain eggs, which aren’t listed in the dressings’ ingredients. The FDA is warning that people with an egg allergy could suffer “a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.” The agency is advising anyone with either flavor of dressing to throw it away. No other flavors of Wish-Bone are included in the recall, per the FDA.
