“Inside The NBA” Headed To ESPN In New Deal
It’s a new era for “Inside The NBA“. The popular studio sports talk show is headed to ESPN and ABC in a licensing deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Hosts Ernie Johnson Jr., Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal will all remain part of the show.
The future of “Inside The NBA”, which has been part of TNT’s coverage since 1990, was in doubt after WBD was left out of the NBA’s new media rights deal. As part of the deal, WBD will get some international NBA rights as well as some of ESPN’s Big 12 football and basketball games. The move will take place when the new rights deals take effect with the 2025-26 season.
