After weeks of anticipation, people from all over the world logged on to Instagram last night to watch the "VERZUZ" battle between Teddy Riley and Babyface. It was an EPIC FAIL!
Poor Teddy Riley could not get his sound together. Which is a shame seeing as he had a WHOLE crew working behind the scenes while Baby was "by myself, you know, social distancing" (his words, not mine) and his sound was perfect.
After an hour, and 3 "VERZUZ" rounds, Teddy announced that he needed some time to get things together and that he was logging off to try to fix the problem. Unfortunately, Babyface (along with many fans) was Over It! Babyface took to his IG page to say that the battle would be postponed for another time.
But the night wasn't an entire loss. Social media users quickly began to produce some of the funniest videos and memes about the battle. Here are just a few of my favorites.
