DoorDash Delivery Times Now Delayed For Customers Who Don’t Tip
If you are a nontipper, and use DoorDash, then you need to listen up. If you don’t tip, your DoorDash delivery could now be delayed.
Some may say DoorDash might be tripping on this one, but I say that they aren’t. I remember seeing videos from DoorDash and Uber drivers making videos on how they were basically making pennies because people would not tip and this is their only source of income. There were videos of drivers literally crying because they were struggling to make ends meet and people did not tip.
When I go to a restaurant, I always tip around 20%. If I receive bad service, I will attempt to try and rectify the situation or I will speak with management. If the service is still subpar from there, I will leave a tip and a note, but I’m not leaving 20%. That is just stupid. DoorDash has announced that if customers do not pre-tip, then their food delivery will be delayed. Now, I don’t mind tipping, but I need that speed and no tripping. When I say no tripping, I mean no eating my food, messing with it, all of that. I remember recently I came across a video of a DoorDash driver eating her customer’s food. When I say eating, like she was on live she was eating like the food was hers. She even said she was eating a customer’s food. I am not pre-tipping for that kind of service so I need DoorDash to make sure they have that portion in line. Are you happy or upset about this?
