This Might Be The Biggest Unexplained Scam Known To Man
I’m sure you’re reading the title thinking what in the world is she talking about? Guess what? Even I don’t know how this might be the biggest unexplained scam known to man.
I came across a news article about a woman in the surrounding Orlando, Florida area. The young lady is a single mother who just put her current home on the market, sold it and has already gotten a new home under contract. Sounds awesome right? Well, it is as if someone had not stolen her driveway! Yes, you read that right. They stole her driveway.
Apparently, after she placed her home on the market, contractors started showing up to take measurements. Her son even witnessed a few of the contractors coming around the home. My first instinct was why in the world didn’t anyone say anything? Apparently, a man named “Andre” was speaking to contractors about work needing to be done. The contractors came in and did the work. I would assume after questions started to be asked, the contractors wanted proof of ownership of the residence. The man simply claimed he made a mistake and went ghost. Now, this woman is left holding a $10k bill to get a new driveway. If the house is indeed sold, that would most likely have to be taken care of before the new owners take the home or that could potentially mess up the sale. I was confused about exactly what the scam was. It is possible that the scam comes into play when needing someone to repair the damage.
