Iyanla Vanzant Declines R. Kelly’s Request to Appear on “Fix My Life”
Recently Iyanla Vanzant has stated shortly before the Lifetime Docu-series “Surviving R. Kelly,” R.Kelly has asked to make an appearance on her show.
However, he was turned down because he did not meet the criteria required in order to be on the show. Vanzant spoke with ABC News about the criteria needed in order to make her show and her thoughts on R. Kelly’s readiness.
“Are they willing? Are they ready? Do they have the capacity to do the work? He didn’t have it, the emotional capacity, he just didn’t have it,” stated Vanzant.
If you didn’t know, Vanzant’s show, “Fix My Life,” premieres on the Oprah Winfrey Network where she helps people find peace and move on from their experienced traumas.
