Judge Judy Coming to an End
After 24 successful seasons, ‘Judge Judy‘ is coming to an end. I’m not happy because this was one of my favorite shows!!!
Since 1996 Host Judy Sheindlin has lit up our afternoons with her witty and satirical rulings.
On Monday’s visit to The Ellen show Sheindlin states that the 2020-21 season of Judge Judy will be its last. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Judge Judy will end production after next season, which will be the show’s 25th season on the air.
Sheindlin is the highest-paid personality on TV, earning $47 million a year.
The show has gone on to win multiple Emmy Awards and the star herself earned the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Daytime Emmys.
Although ‘Judge Judy ‘is over, its not yet time to say goodbye. Fans will still be able to see Sheindlin. starring in her new series ‘Judy Justice‘. It has not been confirmed what type of syndicated program it will be, what network it will be on or when it is set to air.
‘Judge Judy,’ you’ll be able to see next year — a full year, all new shows. With a ponytail!” she added. “The following couple of years, you should be able to catch all the reruns that CBS has sold to the stations that are currently carrying ‘[Judge] Judy,’ and ‘Judy Justice’ will be going elsewhere. Isn’t that fun?”
