There Is A Recall On A Popular Diabetic Medication
I am a diabetic, so when I heard about a recall on meds, I panicked a bit. I was diagnosed with diabetes about 3 or so years ago.
I had my second son almost 4 years ago, and during my pregnancy I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Shortly after I had my son, I was diagnosed with diabetes. Prior to my last pregnancy, I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. I tried to do the right thing, but like others, I sort of fell off the wagon. It happens. Life happens right? Right.
So fast forward to my diagnosis, I was placed on Metformin. I recently found out there was a recall on some Metformin prescriptions. Not all pharmacies were affected, but some where. Check with your pharmacy for instructions.
