This is a great question. Do you know what the name of the airport was before it was the Charlotte Douglas airport? Do you know what it looked like before it was Charlotte Douglas?
These are great questions, but I came across a video that shows just what the airport looked like and the name before it became the Charlotte Douglas Airport. The airport’s name used to be Douglas Municipal Airport. It was later changed to Charlotte Douglas. The airport has started to share black history facts about the airport, but today, they also shared a throwback as well. Checkout this video.
