Charlotte Residents Experience Delays In Yard Waste Collection
If you are doing some hefty yard work, you may want to pace yourselves. There are some Charlotte residents experiencing delays.
There is currently a staffing shortage in a lot of businesses including the waste management department. If you are in need of a job and considering the waste management area, this could be great for you. Solid waste will have two upcoming dates for open interviews. May 10th and May 24th. The time frame to swing by is 10am-2pm at 1105 Otts Street.
Solid Waste has made a small update that 17 new drivers were hired and would be starting in the next few weeks. Until then, residents are asked to place yard waste curbside and leave it until it’s collected. Be a difference and help turn these staffing solutions from a negative into a positive.
