Big Scarr’s Father Sets The Record Straight And Defends Gucci Mane
We recently learned of the death of Big Scarr and with that, came a lot of drama about Gucci paying for the funeral. His father recently set the record straight by defending Gucci.
Big Scarr passed away from an accidental drug overdose. After his death, there were claims coming some family and friends that Gucci Mane offered to pay for the funeral. They claim he later ghosted the family with claims that he had to pay for his wife’s birthday party and allegedly couldn’t do both. I’m not sure if that was true or not, but it definitely caused issues.
Because of the confusion, Keyshia Ka’oir, Gucci’s wife, posted a receipt of a $10,000 payment made directly to the funeral home. She also stated they sent flowers and the issues continued to spiral from there. There was even a live video of Big Scarr’s sister according to Gossip In The City saying the $10,000 wasn’t enough.
Big Scarr’s father recently went live and to clear some things up. He spoke about the star being cremated and he was waiting on the ashes. He also defended Gucci by saying he didn’t have to do what he did, but he was thankful. He attempted to break down where the miscommunication seemed to come in. He spoke about Scarr’s mother mentioning Gucci called and offered to pay. They started making arrangements and he mentioned the price had gotten to $40,000. The invoice was submitted for payment and later returned stating only $10,000 would be provided. Also according to Scarr’s father, Atlantic Records sent $10,000 and Gucci also sent $10,000. He stated he covered the rest. I think what he said was true. He even spoke to his son’s siblings in the video saying to cease some of the things they were saying. The full video is around 25 minutes, but he cleared the air. Check it out below.
