Boosie Speaks On $50k Bond
This current case involving rapper Lil Boosie has been a wild one. Nearly a week after Lil Boosie’s arrest, he was issued a $50k bond and is now speaking out.
Lil Boosie is now speaking out about his bond. First, let me bring you up to speed. Boosie appeared in court last week on a state weapons charge in California. Upon him leaving the courthouse after the dismissal, he was arrested again. For days, no one knew what the charges were. After a statement from Boosie was released via I WANNA TAKE THIS TIME TO APOLOGIZE TO MY KIDS , IM SORRY AND I LOVE YALL FOREVER 🙏🏾

When I saw those words, I started to wonder what was Lil Boosie really be held on. I even wondered if this was a sealed case? After days of speculation, reports stated Boosie allegedly was being held on various possible weapons charges. Prosecutors allege authorities were monitoring a social media page and Boosie was allegedly carrying a weapon. Authorities then use a helicopter and some type of tracking system using air support to track him. The rapper was subsequently stopped and a weapon was found. This is the state case that was being dismissed prior to this recent arrest. Honestly, that sounds super fishy to me that they just so happen to observe him on a live video. Then, they were able to get a helicopter together over a rapper on a live carrying a weapon? I do understand the severity of carrying a weapon illegally, however, did that process not seem excessive yet planned?
On Tuesday, Lil Boosie had a court hearing and was granted a bond. The bond was $50k which seemed small to some. Allegedly the prosecution wanted the rapper to stay in custody until trial. Boosie posted a statement via Twitter. He said he has paid his bond, but is still being held. This really is wild. It’s as if its a scene from a movie. Whatever is going on, it sounds like the prosecution either has, or almost has a big case and still need to connect a few dots. Either way, if you are going to allow someone a bond and they pay it, let them out. If there were no other conditions discussed prior, give them their due process. Lil Boosie has addressed his anger in regards to his treatment.
