Instagram Rolls Out Gift Option In Reels
Social media has always been away to gain fame and money. Now Instagram is adding a gift option in reels as another way to make money.
This option is actually on Instagram from my research and this is an excellent way to make money. The way that it works is that users can send stars as a way of saying they enjoy your content. They can also add money to the gift and it all goes straight to the creators account.
Creators can currently make money based off plays from their reels. I started to hear creators complain that they saw reel payments decreased. A lot of creators blamed algorithms as the culprit. A lot of creators complained their reels weren’t appearing in the feeds of as many people as before when they initially accepted the terms of being paid from reels. This could be great for some creators. The only thing that I don’t particularly care for is the amount. You can give stars to creators and they only get paid one cent per star.
